Out of control socialists, that's what.

Meanwhile, having not looked too closely at the abomination featured in the OP, we do like lever action long guns on general principle. *Some* can be run if the operator is up to the task pretty damn quickly.

Having said that, a DBM lever action can be a neat deal depending on the cartridge.

          Carry on.

Agree with BajaJames! Horrid! Not my style, but if someone else likes it, well...

The enclosed trigger guard goes down with the lever? The whole thing just seems wonky and fragile... and fugly too!

I agree with my buddy Apple's....I don't know if it makes it better but it makes it more appealing to some because its not semi auto...
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I'd not be interested in buying the entire gun, but the lower alone would be OK.

Re "why a lever when you can use a semi?" - I reload, but generally don't bother when using an AR, Mini, Robinson or Benelli. I don't like chasing the brass. I do it when shooting a Volquartson Evolution because reloading gets the best out of the gun and I tend to not go through lots of rounds using it. Shooting a lever action in 223 allows me to easily pick up brass, see what I can do with the gun through reloading.

Not much unlike a Browning BLR but on the BLR, the trigger comes with the lever. Fightlite has this huge arm on the lever to actuate the bolt. That thing looks just as awkward. Bond Arms has lots of cams and links on the lever so longevity is a concern. I'd like to see a direct comparison between the two but I'm sure that will be awhile. So far, my preference is leaning toward the Bond Arms.
