I was hoping he was OK as he is one of the people I look up to due to his excellent tastes in firearms and the money to actually put them to good use.

Thanks for asking. I am OK. I was overseas for a month in October - November and then NYC over Christmas. Leaving for Dallas Safari Convention next week.
I also have been on a fitness kick. Bought an indoor rower and already rowed 250,000+ meters. I also hit the gym 6 days a week to work out with weights. I have a pretty tough trophy elephant bull and cape buffalo hunt in October, 2023 coming up. At 66 need to be in good shape to keep up.
I put the rower in the living room for personal accountability, so I remember to row every day for Zone 2 training to increase stamina and endurance.
