    Lyman 57 SME sight question

    Hey neighbors,

I screwed up last night. I was cleaning a rifle and as I went to lean it against the table it slid over and landed on it's side.

It bent the windage elevation knob on my Lyman 57 and it jammed up.

I gently straightened it out but the windage assembly fell out of the sight.

The flat spring was broken in half. Does anyone know if Lyman will sell these parts for a DIY repair?

I called Lyman but they are closed on the weekends.

    Thanks

    Steve,
Post a picture of the broken and bent parts. I might have some laying around.

Lyman was kind enough to send me the repair parts for free. Nice customer service.

Thanks Ken. Great job on my rifle. The black ShootnSee sticker next to it is 3" in diameter.

Good shootin' for irons coupled with "seasoned" eyesight!
I use same load of 2400 with a 210 gas check. Switched to 13 grns Red Dot because it works the brass better, but haven't checked it for groups yet.
