URSA October 2000+ Yard Match

Deer season in our zone is over and it's time to get in a match before gas hit $7 a gallon.
We are shooting Sunday October 16th above Upperlake,CA around 3 miles west of the Highglade Lookout.
No Fees No pit duty just sign up online at www.unlimitedrange.org and shoot. Any legal and safe gun is welcome and any legal and safe shooting position is allowed.
It doesn't get any better than that.
Last year's 3K winner used a 300 Norma built on a Remington 700 action to get 9/10 hits past 2500 yards.
We are a friendly bunch and we all like to shoot so bring plenty of ammunition. 60 rounds should be considered minimum as we always seem to shoot multiple matches per day.
Also with the help of Shaun Brady we might be shooting the 2000 and 2500 yard distances without having to move our gear which should allow more matches or a quicker days shooting.
We leave it all up to the shooters to decide.
If 5 guys want to keep shooting and 10 want to go home the 5 keep shooting as the 10 others leave.
The match director will always stay until the last shot gets fired.
I suspect gas at the Indian casino to be $5.50 a gallon so plan ahead as it's $6+ now in santa rosa.
Start time for the first match will be 30 minutes after sunrise and plan on 45 minutes to get up the hill from upper lake if your coming for the very first time. It's only 8 miles but it's a dirt road and we want everyone to have a safe trip.

If you want to shoot this event, you MUST sign up ONLINE (see below). Registrations MUST be received no later than 6 PM the day before the event. There will be NO onsite registrations. Registration is required for all shooters, spotters, and anyone that will be on or in the general proximity of the shooting line. NO exceptions!

NOTE: This is the first opportunity to qualify for the 2023 “URSA 3000 Yard Challenge” which will be held in April.

Shooters don't forget to sign up. We have received a lot of text messages but we need the online paperwork.
Also I have been working on setting up four gongs all shot from the same shooting position.
2100,2650,3300 and 3720 yards.
Shaun chainsaw Brady is helping me in the morning but if it doesn't get finished we will still shoot our normal matches.
