I have several Kimber ultralights. So who is the current champion of ultra light???

Dunno. But what I can tell you is that the one and only Kimber 84L I owned and shot was about 6.5 pounds all-in with scope and rings mounted. It was also a gun that would not group, no matter what bullet/powder combo I tried - and I tried a bunch.

Traded it for a Winchester 70 and a Ruger 10/22.

I would nominate the NULA Forbes rifle. I have his short action in 6.5 x 55 it shoots less than moa and is pleasant to shoot from the bench. Unloaded with mounted Leupold 2.5 x 8 it weighs 5 lbs 12ounces. 6.5 x55 fits because his magazine length is 3 inches. Can't get that rifle anymore since Forbes sold, now only limited standard calibers.
