Reopening Part Deux! We have a more powerful server, twice the CPU and four times the RAM.
I'm kind of afraid to say this but... let's stress test this thing!
I have a Miroku made Hi-Wall in .45-70; overall, it is a beautiful little carbine, well made, with a very nice fit and finish. Criticism is the issue of mounting an optic on this one, as it took lots of research to find the correct rings. Your’s may be different. Another point was the lack of sling studs, but the overall #1 point was the stock design; it has one of those steel, curved butt plates that only makes the recoil impulse punishing with stout loads. Another issue was the poorly chosen iron sights, that regulate only for much heavier lead bullets.
I will likely take a bandsaw to the stock, and install a pad. Otherwise, I wouldn’t buy it again. The 6.5CM version I hope is different. Id look to other designs, such as a Ruger #1, or perhaps a Thompson single-shot.
Good luck to you.
