As I was scouring all over the internet to find one in stock all I would find are out of stock and it was the new ruglin model with the longer barrel. It had me thinking, is there now a premium on the remlins since they dont make them anymore? I personally prefer the look of the shorter barrel remlin and never had to worry about fit or finish. The shorter the barrel the cooler the rifle in my eyes and that's why I think the trapper is the best looking version of the sbl line.
Just like off roster guns get a premium or a discontinued cz 75 tactical, does the remlin sbl deserve one? I'm asking because I'm finding it hard to let go for cheap what constitutes cheap because I cannot for the life of me find any model in stock. Even before covid it was a bitch waiting for a batch to come in. I see myself buying this rifle again down the road but I'd kick myself for having to pay 2400 + taxes
