I've been waiting for the Henry Single Shot rifle to get in stock locally, but it's been over a year. I don't like to diversify calibers a lot, so I think I want one in .223. I just shoot paper, so knock-down power isn't important.
I've felt the Henry lever action trigger and it's very nice. Crisp, with very little take-up. If the single shot trigger is the same, it should be just fine.
I'd mount a 3-9X40 scope on it and go shooting at 100-200 yds.
Any thoughts?
