Pointy bullets make a difference in a .30-30. I had a Savage 340 bolt action that I loaded with 130 gr Hornady and 125 gr Sierra spitzer bullets - 150 gr bullets were too long for the magazine. They really flattened the trajectory past 150 yards and worked well on CA deer.Comment

I have a couple hunnerd rounds of Hornady LEVERevolution that I got garage sailing. I don't remember what weight. Of course, it's not condor friendly. Having the boolits was a big impetus for picking up the Savage, even tho I have a 325. Not the same cool factor. PAXYou need a crew
