We are holding our monthly match the 3rd Sunday in December.
Any rifle any sight as long as it's legal to own and safe to shoot bring it..any position offhand sitting prone bench out of your truck bed we don't discriminate.
Multiple guns bring them we like to shoot a lot.
No fees no pit duty you just show up sign your liability release draw a number and shoot.
You need to be there at 7:30 am so we can shoot in decent conditions.
You signup online at www.unlimitedrange.org as we no longer accept signups at the match.
This is also a qualifying match for the SoCal 3K so hit 5 out of 10 and your good to go.
To get there take the 101 north to the hwy 20 cutoff where you make a right and drive 30 minutes to Upperlake. You know your there when there is a roundabout in the middle of the road.
1/4 mile past the roundabout is Mendenhall road which takes you to elk mountain road. Take elk mountain road 1/2 mile to Pitney lane and the only road off of Pitney lane is Sam Alley Ridge road. You can't make a wrong turn as all these roads only go in one direction.
It is roughly 8 miles to the top of the mountain but it takes 30-40 minutes to get on top so factor that into your leave time.
Once on top of the .outline we are roughly 3 miles west of the highglade lookout so go left and stay on the main road and you will see us.
Bring atleast 60 rounds of ammo as we usually shoot 2 matches of 30 shots each.
