Before I got to your written question here I was going to quip, "Does that mean I now own a classic?"

After looking at your link I see they're offering a Lux with a nice walnut stock but with that neat Euro cheek. New features like their "short extractor controlled feed" and the "magazine lock", even the caliber conversion... huh. Sounds interesting.

If you're referring to the image of the Lux that I grabbed, that's their typical sight hood. It should be removable.

Wonder if XS Sights Systems makes anything for CZs... hmmm.

I'm disappointed. CZ is great old world stuff, and really the last in that market. Now they are in a market that makes me hard to see why I wouldn't just buy a Tikka instead.

Agree. Or some sort of Weatherby, Howa, Sako and perhaps Browning.

Tikka doesn't make anything like that.

I thought I would be the only one not liking this change, am glad to have some company. It looks to me that the same folks who did Ruger's "economizing" have moved to CZ - unfortunately.

Matte instead of polished bluing. Laser patterning instead of checkering and a dull spray paint finished stock. Not for me. Although their tactical 600 may be fine, I guess that's the sort of thing that moves fast today.

Their Lux is no more luxury than the new S&Ws "classics" line is classy.
