Sorry for the delay - I was finally able to hobble down the stairs to the gun room for pics. As requested, please see below. This rifle is a circa 1901 special order, with a letter from the Cody museum to back its bona-fides. Note that it is a pretty high condition gun, and still has case coloring evident on the finger lever, excellent screw heads, tight furniture fitment, and a minty bore to boot.

Nice Rifle, I love half round, octagon barrels and 38-55 is a tough find in nice condition. Congrats on taking Third Place. Is it a 26” barrel, it appears longer?
