Ruger CEO & Marlin Production on IG

Did anyone see the latest IG post for Marlin?

Looks like he is polishing a lever action receiver. Will be interesting to see what Ruger releases first, and most of us have high hopes for a return to quality.
Personally, I’d like to see an improved version of the 1895 with “scout-like” attributes in .350 RM, but I’d still consider one chambered in .45-70 Govt.

When they get done cleaning up the Marlin line, they can move to an improved #1.

They should make 30-30, 35 Remington, 444 Marlin and 45-70.

Model 39 would be very unexpected....I think I'll hope for this one.
I'm also hoping to win the lotto

They should add 41 mag, 45 Colt and 32-20 to list and a 32-20 Blackhawk.

They aren’t gonna do “weird stuff” to start out, they’ll do 45-70, .30-30 and probably .44 Mag to keep with the mainstream buyers.

                I would switch .357 with .44. There's a lot more .357 guns out there than .44.

My guess is there will be more people wanting 357 than 44, another might be 45 Colt because all the cowboy shooters. I mentioned the 32-20 because I have a Marlin 32-20 that was made in the 80s never thought it as "weird stuff" though, have had more offers for it than any other rifle I own.

Mentioned the 41 mag because there probably quite a few 41 mag guys that would like a lever rifle to go with their revolvers.

                    Will they be called "Ruglins"?

                    Maybe a takedown 1894 in 10mm?

They'll probably make the 10mm along with the 39 .. I do like your thinking. A 10 mm lever gun would be awesome.

I think we all know it's going to be a .357 and 30-30

Shot a 218 Bee some years back. That was a fun cartridge in a Lever.

223 is fun in a lever too.

King, I would think they will be Marlin's. I could be wrong but I think the better part of the deal between Ruger and ___________ was buying the name Marlin..

                          It's a good question

They better have some kind of 22 lever action.

They are unlikely to have some kind of 22 in lever action, sadly.
