I just realized it's missing so ordered on sarco. Has anyone had to install one? Does it screw right in? I googled but didn't see just yet so I'll keep searching. For the purpose of shooting at 100 yards maybe it's not necessary but there could be slight movement I'd think without it tightened. In the meantime maybe a tiny screw from the hardware store? From the picture of the screw it doesn't seem like it screws right in since it has 2 threaded sections.

1903 rear sight elevation lock screw...

Thank you. I finally found the info. I was able to remove the ladder on both my 1903s and ordered the screw. Luckily I had the pin in both but unluckily I had to do some work to get the broken piece of the previous screw out. A dremel spun the screw so was able to grab with needle nose and work it the rest of the way out.Comment
