Bottom Mtl. for 270 Short Mag

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Friend has an ADL 700 in 270 Short Mag wanting to convert to detachable magazine. Would a regular short action kit work with this?

Looking for a good quality recommendation for the bottom metal and magazine to run.

I have a 700 in 223, this may give me a reason to convert mine too.

A regular short action M5 bottom metal works.
You need M5 WSM magazines.

PTG are pretty good.
Badger originated the M5 pattern.

I’m running PTG and it’s like half the price of Badger. Works fine.
