    Can't answer your question but I have had an X-Bolt Medallion for about 10 years (.308 Winchester) but it has a lumber stock.

    Regardless, the X-Bolt is one fantastic rifle in all respects.

      I own several Browning XBolt Hunter models. I love Brownings, but there is nothing flimsy about Tikkas! I own both.

              OP, I believe the Stalker and Western hunter use the same exact composite stock. For the Western Hunter, you're paying more for the muzzle brake, camo dip job on the stock, and the cheek riser. Both guns should offer the same level of stock rigidity.
