    Remington model 722 trigger...

I'm trying to identify this trigger on my Remongton 722/possibly model 40 rifle.

    Anyone able to help?

It would typically be a 40x trigger in that era, but that trigger shoe looks like it can be moved as well as having all 3 screws accessible from below which is most definitely not typical of a 40x trigger.
There are several trigger makers that have disappeared over the last 60 years.
Have you pulled the stock off to look for a maker's mark?

Hart still makes the original Walker designed trigger today so you can take the stock off and send them pictures.

Dan Armstrong at www.accu-tig in Alaska can answer any questions as well.
