STEYR MANNLICHER SCHOENAER M1903 DOUBLE TRIGGER SET

Austrian long rifle with scope. With double set trigger. the serial number is 3333. 18 inch barrel. what appears to be all original hardware. I am unsure on the markings and value of this rifle. The gun store owner I took it to said it held some good value and was rare, Didnt give me an ammount only told me it was rare and valuable> I am hoping for some help from all you pros with a value and any other info. Thank you in advance! The top of the gun reads "MADE IN AUSTRIA PATENT MANNLICHER SCHOENAUR M1903"

I can’t tell you about the value but it looks more like a sporting rifle than a “sniper” rifle.

Mannlicher schoenauer rifles were very popular with hunters.

Why did you start a second thread about the same rifle?

Curious to know what brand of scope is mounted on the rifle. My assumption is either a German mfg or Austrian mfg such as Kahles

To be quite honest, because my first post was a mess....the pictures were the wrong format.... and instead of destructing and re-constructing, I felt it easier to start with a fresh thread. I apologize if that is in anyway a problem. I am new to this forum and a little unsure of what to do in that situation.

quite honestly OP I think you're spinning your wheels here. this isn't really a tech site, more a gabfest.

Nice Gun. The new pictures really help to see the condition overall. The Nitro Express forum, link above, is a good place to request information.
