I have a 50dtc-edm reamer and go no go gauges.......If you want to borrow them make an NRA contribution and I will send them to you........clear enough???

So what’s the process? Can you convert a 50 Bmg upper to 50 dtc? Seems like the chamber would need to be shortened by removing part of the back of the barrel.

I think I’d have to resize all the 50 Bmg cases for dtc correct?

The 510 DTC is 0.100 shorter than the standard 50 BMG but in order to make it have the same case capacity taper per inch was taken out resulting in a fatter shoulder.
If you cut off 0.1 of your existing chamber you can then run in the 510 reamer and get a 510 DTC chamber.
The picture shows the 50 BMG the 510 DTC and the M48A1 spotter tracer round which when necked down becomes a 416 Barrett.
For brass trim standard 50BMG brass down 0.100 or until it fits then fireform it.

from 50 BMG, remove .105 from the barrel and shoulder....rescrew it to the receiver....then ream to depth using the go nogo gauges......you now have a 50dtc chamber....

Very simple really but does require some machining skills

Making the brass is pretty easy.....resize 50 bmg brass in the 50dtc dies....trimming is the hardest part, I removed to .100 in a lathe and parted it off.

Then your first firing will fire form the shoulder to the DTC dimensions....
