Timney trigger on R700 - cannot pull the trigger nor move safety handle

I flushed and soaked the trigger with lighter fluid, then air to clean it.

However, it didn't solve the problem. So I sent an email to the customer service and received instruction a couple days later. It turnout out that because I adjusted the pull weight to be lighter, the safety locks up when there is not enough spring pressure in the pull weight. So I adjusted it back, the trigger is back to normal now.

I needed a new trigger the end of August and bought another Jewell.
I've had two break in 20 years and both were my fault and they fixed them both for free.
After I bought the Jewell Lester's daughter Amy sent me an email saying they were out and could I wait.
I could have bought something else instead but decided to wait.
It's going on a hunting rifle so 12 ounces will work even though that's heavy compared to my other guns. Comes with a bolt release and safety.

So I adjusted it back, the trigger is back to normal now.

Pull weight should not effect the safety operation unless you back the spring completely off the sear.
You can't loosen the trigger return spring beyond the point where it's no longer got contact with the sear in the fired condition.
Or maybe you adjusted the sear engagement.
If you don't have enough sear engagement, the safety will not engage.
