In my advanced state of decay, I prefer to occupy the high desert floor only when temps are 80 and below.
That's a fact.

I like the wood on that thing, AC. Very nice.
Temps are coming down, fellers! Maybe in a few weeks.
Too, I sawr on the local teevee news' weather radar that our spot got absolutely hammered this afternoon, with flooding more than likely (flash flood warning yesterday -and- today). Bring a shovel! if we want to get the trucks through. Or use a rock crawlin' rig.

I think it'll be passable with the right gear. Recovery gear, that is.

Agreed Pennstater, let's get our game face back on. How about a 1974 Marlin 336 with a period correct Weaver K4?

Not trying to step on toes here, but, can we keep this MLC minded?
There's other threads for other subjects. It's why this one was started.
No offense guys, but, there it is.

If ever there was a way to make working on a boat more miserable, you figured it out.I was outside working on a buddy's fishing boat most of yesterday and then again this morning for a couple hours.
It was 63% humidity when we finished up around 11am today.
Since it was so late, and the lake would likely have been full of wakeboard bros, we decided not to put the boat on the lake.
There also was not any wind so it would have been swamp *** hot.Leave a comment:

Yeah they’re doing some big Mexican fiesta in the park with bands and vendors, they finally called it quits when it really started dumping and the thunder and lightning got close.Leave a comment:

With my wonderful eyesight, my levers need a scope. Iknow, I know. Just me probably.Tinkered with my 45 Colt 20" 1894 Cowboy today. Can't decide between Williams or Skinner Express Black Gold sights. I put the Skinner on the 24" and the Williams on the 20", and can't adjust the Williams to shoot low enough at 50 yards.
I'm going to use the 20" for pig and deer hunts. Guess I need to order some front sights, and some smaller apertures, as the group was unacceptable with the big .093" hole that came with the Williams.
Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated! I'm also not at all opposed to throwing a red dot on the hunting version. I may try that next.
