OP, That is an amazingly beautiful rifle you built!

Would you mind sharing your technique for achieving that case hardened look on the stainless steel? (assuming this started out as the shiny stainless steel version with the grey/wood stock).

OP, you seriously should be proud. That is one, amazing looking lever action rifle. The wood and case hardened finish completely changes the whole aesthetics and adds a touch of class to a working gun.

Before Browning invented Semi Auto Rifles, Winchester and Marlin Leverguns were the "Assault Weapons" of the day, and everyone had one along with a Revolver, generally in the same caliber. Too bad .357 and .44 Magnums weren't invented until 50 years later.

Other than the slower reloading of the gun, which ain't that slow if you practice a little, and learn how to manage your ammo just like you do with a Tactical Shotgun, I see no significant disadvantage in Urban Combat.

It's called Shoot Two, Load Two. They actually teach this at Gunsite and I've seen it on TV!

Not an AR or AK but hardly a Baseball Bat either.

Sometimes you got to run what you brung. Best to know how to use it!

The CAS guys are way ahead of the curve.

I'm hoping that Ruger comes out with 1894 CB's made right with 1:20 barrels and our suggested mods, quickly,,, as I will be getting one s soon as they are available. OH .44 Spec/Mag too!
