    My "New" Remington 700

I just finished my new rifle and it came out better than expected! So, I wanted to share with you Calgunners. Remington 700 VTR .223. Sold the original stock and trigger and made some changes. I used some KRG parts and they were excellent to deal with. Also, HUGE kudos to Brandon at Custom Gun Coatings who did the cerakote on my KRG stock.

    KRG Bravo stock
    KRG Arca rail
    KRG Arca spigot
    KRG Arca clamp
    Vortex PST II 3-15x44
    Vortex Precision Matched Rings
    Vortex bubble level
    Triggertech Special Pro trigger
    MDT .223 magazine
    Atlas bipod

Very sexy! Bravo stock is on my short list to replace an older-than-dirt UARS on my .308. Do you happen to remember the height on those rings?

Total cost in the gun is approx. $2,650 - believe it or not the cerakote was VERY affordable....Most people I checked were like $300, Brandon at Custom Gun Coatings who did the Cerakote was awesome to deal with...like half the cost of the others. The stock was grey when I purchased it, and man did the Cerakote make a HUGE difference!!!

Looks good man! I’m in the process of changing my 243 Tikka into something like this. I just ordered a 18” X Caliber 6.5 cm barrel, have the KRG Bravo and An Athalon Ares 2.5-15. May have to get the cerekote done.

Definitely worth it to do the Cerakote. get ahold of the guy that did mine, he's awesome. (see my first post) I think that was the best bang for my money. The standard stock was grey.

Beautiful build and chassis. Digging’ the cerakote job. Brandon at CGC does very good work, and at a very affordable price. He did a GAP job for me that turned out amazing.
