We are holding our March match on the 3rd Sunday of the month so if you want to give unlimited range shooting a try here us your opportunity.
Any legal gun any safe shooting position and no fees and no pit duty.
Kind of hard to beat that.
Also if your thinking I would like to shoot a 338 Lapua here is a golden opportunity. I have 4 guns put together by our own BillyGoat Machine from this forum and if you want to shoot one this is your opportunity.
Also this is a qualifying event for the SoCal 3k match.

The event is on Sunday, March 15, in the Upper Lake area - Lynn, please provide some directions.

As point of info re 3K qualification, you need to hit 5 in 10 at 2000 yards (or further) - during the formal practice portion of the March event, the qualification portion of the March event, or the record round portion of the March event.

To get to the range take 101 north to the highway 20 east offramp right above Ukiah/Calpella.
Travel around 30 minutes until you reach the roundabout at UpperLake. Just after the roundabout maybe a 1/4 mile is Mendenhall road which only goes north.
It is a short road that ends at elk mountain road where you take a left for another mile until you reach Pitney lane which is a dead end road that is a right turn.
Follow Pitney until you reach the only road off of Pitney which is Sam Alley Road.
You follow Sam Alley up the mountain which is around 8 miles or 45 minutes and stay to the right when you reach the top.
You will see us parked on the edge of the road around 3 miles west of the highglade lookout.
