He doesn't go into any detail but he hits upon alot of different subjects.
Slugging the barrel looking for the tight spot just like Bill Calfee.
Opening up the muzzle by removing too much steel for muzzle brake threads.
Bolt clearance allowing the lugs to vibrate the action when fired.
Subtle but it's all in there.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.

He also mentioned the bolt 'bounce' on firing...
You mentioned that Lynn just last week or so on the truing a receiver thread.
Mine bounces...….
Probably gonna borrow a tap and insert a set screw....
Yeah... he mentioned a LOT of info really quick... and that geek next to him wants to pretend he's also 'in the know'.... LOLOLOLOLComment

It's hard to explain the truing of an action because most decent guns shoot 1/2-5/8 inch groups.
If you have a solid shooting platform that takes the shooter out of the equation you can see the affects more easily.
It's good to have someone with credentials to support what you have seen for yourself so you don't come across wrong when your giving out valid Intel.Last edited by LynnJr; 02-04-2020, 6:58 PM.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.

Gordy saying he rarely uses range rods anymore because they dial in the lands instead of the grooves.
Now he uses a long reach indicator.
I have been using a long reach indicator for years for the same reasons.Randall Rausch

Good videoRule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
