    Late XMas Gift

    ...for myself.

Thinking of getting a Marlin .357 lever action at Turners when I get back in town. Minus the break in period of working the lever action over and over and the fact of past quality complaints...are they considered good rifles. I'd love to wait and see what pops up on the marketplace but if I see something I want I get impatient.

Anyone have feedback about the Marlins they have purchased in last 6 months?

hmmm ive been eyeing a marlin 1894 in .357 as well, debating of making the purchase before the increase in Dros fees.

Would be interested to hear others opinions as well in regards to the newer Marlins/Remlins.

Sucks cause a guy in the marketplace had a Stainless Rossi for 500 but kinda far and my trip came up right when he listed. I would have driven up to get it but....had to make the flight hahah.

Mainly want to know besides fit and finish is the Marlin reliable. I reload for my 686 with .357 mag only (no weak loads or .38) so will be shooting HP mag loads.

        Lots of info here

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
