    Oops I did it again....

And it looks something like this...
    20191101_112836.jpg
.357, 20" Octagon barrel. It's got a little weight over the nose, but it shoots like a dream. Did a two day SASS competition with it and it shoots better than I do.

And yet, another lever rifle comes to the forums. And a happy owner!
Damn nice rifle you got there. A dandy.

          That shore is purdy!
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Got to love the short rifle
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I'm definitely loving this one. Cleaned it up and without being able to run any rounds through it, I went straight into a two day match with it. I put 120 rounds downrange and not one hiccup.

Oh, and it's the Cimarron offering of the Uberti 1873.

What's not to love about a '73! save for the fact it ain't a .45-70.

One of these days I gotta come out to a SASS shoot and check it out.

I've got a 20" Oct barrel 92 with case hardening in 38/357, not as heavy as my 24" but still heavy. I would think you guys would use the lighter round barrel guns. You run 20" barrels for the extra mag space or does it matter?

Great choice. Uberti makes a great 73 clone. Which SASS group are you shooting with?

I'm not a member of any local group, yet. I have a friend that has been helping me out (got me into this, help me shoot my wallet, whatever...) that is a member of the Cajon Cowboys.
I have had a Cimarron Model P for 5 or so years and he let me borrow one of his Vaqueros, a '97 Winchester pump and an Uberti '73 for my first ever match with the Jokers Wild up at the Panorama Sportsman's Club. Well, two weeks later I was in Lytle Creek at the West End Gun Club shooting the same generously loaned firearms and ammo.

The next thing you know, my bench looked like this just before I went back up to Panorama for the Great Northfield Raid....
