Pre 64 Winchester 94 carrier spring?

So, gonna take another shot at getting my 94 apart. Do any of y'all have a line on a new carrier spring for it? I'm watching fleabay right now, but a direct source for parts would be nice.

Numrich Gun Parts or possibly Brownell's could have that.

I didn't find it at Brownell's, but I completely forgot about Numrich. I'll check them out. Thanks.

I wanted to say thanks. I called Jack's this morning and ordered the spring. The nice lady said they'd put it in the mail today.

            Thank you.

Hey guys, I just picked up a 1960 model 94 and I was wondering what are the high wear parts, what should I buy spares of, like that. I have no experience with lever actions. Thanks.

Clean it, function test it, and if it works, leave it be. It depends on how it was cared for and how many rounds. My son has a 1951 in .32 Special that belonged to my father. It was never broken down for cleaning in the decades he owned it, just bore brush and patches with #9, then a little oil in the action. I completely broke it down for cleaning and inspection about five years ago. Insides were like new.

There are a lot of old 94s running all their original parts. The parts don't wear out because they're old, they wear out due to cycling. Most of the old 94s haven't shot as much as they've been carried.

Cool, looks like you found it.
I have some videos somewhere I downloaded a while back. Gunsmith tutorials. I have one where the gunsmith shows how to make your own springs. Was going to try to dig it up and share in case you could not find what you were looking for.
