    Bipod for Tikka 559 Target

    Hi,

I need a bipod for my Tikka 595 rifle and am confused what fits to the rails on the bottom of this stock.

Here is a link to the collection of the Leapers website where I ordered the wrong item trough Amazon. But I am happy to buy from any other supplier.

    Thanks in advance!

Harris has the correct one for that rifle. https://www.harrisbipods.com/HB6.php?

Thanks for your quick reply, the link you send me is to an adapter. Can I choose any of the other bipods displayed on the left side of that page?

No bipod fits that rail without an adapter.
What you probably need a a very simple sling swivel adapter that sides into the rail and then a harris bipod which will connect to the sling swivel.

There might be some unused tapped holes there that a sling swivel could simply be screwed into as well.

Do not buy a leapers bipod.
They are very low quality and not fit to be attached to your rifle.

As for that page yes you can choose any of those bipods. May want a swivel model.

Call Harris Bipods 203) 982-7844 and talk to George. He'll set you up with the right adapter for your particular rail.

The 3/8ths Euro Rail adaptor that Damon1272 posted is exactly what I have for attaching a bipod with the sling stud style mount to my Master Sporter.

                    Not really.
Many of the bipods are picatinny or Mlok mount bipods.
I don't think he's going to find an adapter from euro handstop rail to Mlok.

I believe that you have the Anschutz type rail which my sporter also has.

Initially i mounted a bipod with the Harris adapter after having previously trialed the UTG adapter which is somewhat similar to the Harris type.... and they certainly proved satisfactory, however i did ultimately elect to change the mounting system to that of the Atlas mount which i tend to prefer. The latter seems a little more stable and finished of a platform.
