I have no problem with 120gr A-Frames or Partitions in my factory barrel MKVA 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

With the velocities that the 257 Weatherby has, 1 in 10" should do fine with all weights. A faster twist is needed when using longer bullets at lower velocities.
