Is there away to convert a rotary magazine rifle into one that will accept AR mags? My Rugers are the older rotary mag variety.

I know that Ruger redesigned the stock to now hold AR magazines, don't know what was done to the receiver.
Why not give Ruger a call, they are really helpful on the phone, but I don't think it'd be worth spending money on a new stock + possible receiver changes when a new mag-fed rifle only costs ~$400.Vae Victis -
I bought the Magpul American Hunter stock. Happy with it, still shoots 1/2" groups.Comment

Back in the day, after the earth cooled and the dinosaurs came, somebody modified Ruger Deerfield 44 carbine rotary mag bodies to hold 44 Desert Eagle magazines.
With Dr. Dremel and JB Weld, you can do anything. It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.Comment

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
