back when that was built, all there was were cast bullets, unless it is some modern replica and even that should be good to go.Comment

yea now that powdercoating has been discovered its great in rifles gas checks are obsolete nowComment

The 03 was shot with jacketed ammo. Cast works just fine and wont lead if done right. I like the 173 and up with gas checks, cast them hard and use a good lube unless your hunting with them. That's another part.Comment
