SAKO TRG 42 300 Win Mag scope ring question

I have had this SAKO TRG 42 300 Win Mag - unfired - in the box in my safe for years.

I am thinking of getting a
    Steiner 5-25x56 M5Xi Military Riflescope w/ MSR-V2 Reticle, Black, 8704 MSR-V2 34mm

What type of scope rings should I get to put this together with?

And you have no problems on your SAKO in 300 Win Mag or higher velocity rifle?

if your rail is steel, get steel ring. Alum rail, get alum ring.

American Rifle company M10 SCOPE RINGS is very easy to level. Quality is top notch.

if you want QD type, ERA-TAC.

Near Mfg has the best for the TRG-42.

Does the SPHUR have the same type of attachment that NEARMFG has?

Integral scope mounts/base are better than scope rings tightened on a base - ?

Sorry for the beginner questions, but I don't have anywhere near the experience found on this board on this subject.

The Spuhr mounts on top of a Picatinny rail. The mount I posted is probably too tall for your application but it shows you what a quality mount looks like with integral rings.

I ordered the Steiner T5Xi 5-25x56mm scope - https://www.opticsplanet.com/steiner...hoCv84QAvD_BwE, I am now worried that the bell of the scope may not clear the barrel. Would a medium ring or a high ring be required to successfully attach this scope? I was going to wait for OpticsPlanet to respond to my Email but their in stock number of these scopes went from 4 to 2 in the few hours I have been looking at it - so I pulled the trigger. Thank you for the replies to my newb questions.

Find yourself a ruler, hold the scope in a spot you would be happy with, and measure. Many high quality ring/mount manufacturers publish measurements of their low, medium, and high rings/mounts.

As a general rule; yes. Fewer joints means fewer areas to become loose. That said, on the TRG42, the only integral mount that I'm aware of is the OEM SAKO unit which is very nice but for essentially the same money you could get a Near Mfg picatinny base/Alpha mount combo (all very high quality stainless steel) which in my opinion is no comparison.
