    35rem vs. 375

If one could find a Marlin in 375 which one would be your pick.....35rem is abundant.

I'd pick the .35 Rem. No need to get wholloped any harder if it isn't needed. .35 is some pretty serious medicine for it's intended use. My opinion.

Try finding .375 food versus .35 Rem food. .375 very rare for awhile now.

Brass and bullets are available from a number of sources. Midway, Graf and Sons, etc. [For the .35 Rem]

.375 Win brass: Check Starline, Graf&Sons. G&S has it in stock.

I think I could find a lifetime supply if I got one....but I'm not that sentimental. I do like a good straight wall cartridge though....thats why I have 45/70's ;^)

Starline does not list it and Graf and Son is out of stock looking this AM stating,

"Winchester Brass 375 Winchester Unprimed Bag of 50
                    $41.99
                    Temporarily unavailable from the manufacturer
                    Item #: WINU375W
                    $0.84 per round."

It's been out of stock for awhile. Review this thread for more info.

It does look like there is a source here for brass and here for ammo.

Still pretty rare. Not going to be on a shelf where .35 Rem will be at some gun shops.

                    Good luck either way.

The 375 isn't worth it to me. The guns themselves are ridiculously expensive these days, which doesn't make sense that a gun is worth more when ammo is impossible to find. A 35 Rem rifle usually isn't more than a comparable 30-30, and ammo is available though can be twice as much as 30-30.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

A 35 is barely better than a 30-30 and only at short ranges. The 375 is a strait wall case and has difficulty building pressure there is plenty of +p 38-55 loaded ammo meant for 375 guns that will thump pretty hard. I had all 3 (30-30, 35,375 ) and I prefer the 30-30 .... my second choice is 375 and 35 is third

                            OP:
I have both and unless you’re reloading and able to find brass, go 35Rem.
