Maybe your base is twisted. Did you try checking it with a straightedge? -
Just got the base off and tested it on a high end level and it’s sting flat with no wobble. You could feel a little wobble with a straight edge when it was on the rifle.Good friends will come bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying damn that was fun!Comment

Lay the straight edge across the rifle where the scope screws are drilled.Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Buy Borrow or steal a second base and see if the problem goes away. That will answer your questions.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.

You might have to bed the base. As the first video shows, attach one end and tighten it down. Should be no gap on the other end.

Well I got it all figured out. Bedded the base and called it good. The gun is shooting great groups now. Really impressed with it.Good friends will come bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying damn that was fun!Comment
