    Winchester 1895 Flatside (4)

My local gs just got in 4 1895 Winchester flatsides on consignment. All different calibers. I don't know much about them but they looked as if they've been in a safe unused for a 100+ years. Beautiful!

Wow, that would be a collection by itself!

I've never really paid any attention to these guns. I don't know why, but they have always looked cheaply made. You sure changed my mind about that.
Thank you for posting the link.

They are located at Mustang Firearms in Grass Valley, CA. A friend who is a Winchester collector (he has over 100 Winchester rifles) said he would drive up from AZ in two weeks because these are the best conditioned flatsides he's seen in 40 years (I sent him pictures). Honestly, I know nothing about them, but he does.

Wow, I wasn't familiar with the "flatside" version of the 1895, those look really cool to me, I'd love to have one if I had the budget for it.
