    Henry big boy sights

Hello, I have a henry big boy silver (357 mag) I really don't like the 1/2 buckhorn sights. Any suggestions on a good replacement? The two I am looking at are https://www.brownells.com/rifle-part...prod27447.aspx and www.skinnersights.com/henry_rifles_18.html I am wondering if the first sight I posted would require drill and tap.

Any other suggestions are welcomed too!

I have the skinner on one of my Rossi 92s. I like it and plan to put one on my new Marlin.
One thing to think about is that you'll probably have to put a taller front sight on with the skinner. I could be wrong, its just something to think about.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

It says you should try it out first and 50% of people leave the original front sight on.

Henry has the same receiver(is that the right word for it?) hole pattern as Marlin no?

So just as an FYI for anyone with Henry Big boy 357, the peep sights sit just fine, it would probably be nice to have the front post risen by 1/15 of an inch.

Did you get the "Lo-Pro" or "Express"? If Lo-pro, where did you put it? Thanks.

I got the 'express' sorry I should have specified. I did also see the tru glow, but I like the face that its a peep sight because it gives less room for error.

FWIW, I put these on my 24" Rossi 357...the factory sights on the Rossi's that I have were really bad. These work really well together, I could see myself going this route if I don't like the skinner sight.

Golfish, the thing I didn't like about those sights were they were still on the barrel, I like my sights close to my face I guess!

Brother, I really like these sights. Its on a 24" barrel so the length helps my old eyes. I think you'll like em. When we meet up, your more than welcome to shoot it, see how you like em.
