Seems like a really good deal unless I'm missing something. I'd like it better with a Horus, but then it would be more expensive. I may have to do something I said I would never do, and spend a lot of money on a scope.

Nice deal on a Bushnell

But the H59 is only $150 more at Optics Planet and they would probably knock $300 off if you ask them in a chat or just use a 10-15% off code. Get the reticle you want.

Got mine at optics planet for less than that, and it is a H59Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOriginally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall. You guys realize this is the new Pro model with their ED Prime glass? Retail $2400.
edit: I don't see it on the Optics Planet website at all. This is not the HDMR.
edit part 2: I did find it with google, the search on their website sucks.

OK, no I had no idea it was brand new. I thought it was discontinued. I don't know much about new Bushnells. ED PRIME... never heard of it. That one at OP said it was MSRP $2300 or something. Must be last years model.
They are selling them on Ebay too

Bushnell likes to use confusing combinations of the same letters, so it took me awhile to decipher which model was which. I had to use mfrs sku's.
ED Prime is their name for the glass in their top-of-the-line $3200 scope. I guess the DMR II Pro is their best glass in their slightly cheaper tube, which is actually a smart concept. If you're using a hold-off reticle you don't care about tracking as much.
Crap, I hate spending money on scopes. The most expensive one I ever bought was a Leupold Vari-X 2 I bought circa 1985 for $300. But I LUVVV bargains, so I might be screwed here.Comment

I think the mechanicals are different too, although on this DMR Pro are very good, not as good as the XRS II. Nevertheless, from what I've read, this scope would be a good value at the typical $1800 price, much less what Natchez is selling it for. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mistake made somewhere, either in the price or model number.
I don't get the point of this, since it's for a completely different scope than what's in the OP.Comment

My point was simply this. In an earlier post, you said:
The DMR series typically has excellent tracking and repeatability - you are not sacrificing or compromising on that element by buying or using one. Your post seems to imply that somehow that the tracking on the less expensive DMR is inferior, which is not necessarily the case.I guess the DMR II Pro is their best glass in their slightly cheaper tube, which is actually a smart concept. At any rate, it is a great deal and I am very tempted to buy one myself at this price. I believe you. I meant that IF it is inferior, it is only to their $3k+ XRS II in their lineup.sigstroker -
