What kind of price can one expect for a laminate rifle stock?

They are all hand made one at a time usually around your action. Depending on wood $800 and up last time I checked.

For the work that they do (based upon the pictures I saw), that sounds like a fair price. The rifles looked beautiful and very well made. Do you know if that includes bedding the stock? Thanks for passing along the information.

You would have to email or call him. I was going to have him make a stock with an old Blank I had but fecided to make it muself after it was inletted. He also makes custom actions. He's a regular over at longrangehunting.com

Last time I checked it was like $1800 for a cool optioned out stock like the ones showcased on his website. They are really nice and I consider them crafted works of art, but im not independently wealthy.

Although I appreciate the nice exotic wood ones, I actually prefer a laminate stock and am hoping that those wouldn't be near that price. I sent them a message late Friday, so I probably won't hear back until Monday. Thanks for the information. I am not that wealthy, either.

I was quoted $500 to turn my $300 blank. Bedding was not part of that only shaping and inletting with my action on hand. I posted my stock here before it was the curly maple one.

The old adage; "if you gotta ask, you probably can't afford it."

Or it's just over-priced for what it is however, with that said; I'd be be willing to shell out some coin for an extra fancy Maple fiddleback stock for my 1894 even considering it is a hunting gun.
