Savage 110 Tactical available CA compliant?

Looking to buy a Savage 110 Tactical in 6.5 Creedmoor, but I have been unable to find if it is available with no threads on the muzzle. Anyone know?

Did Savage start making a 110 pistol with a threaded muzzle? Bolt actions are legal to have a threaded muzzle...til Newsome gets elected anyway.

Garyngwind, that is what I do not know. I am aware that a threaded barrel on an semi-auto pistol is non-compliant. And I know I am taking a precarious step to expecting logic in CA gun laws, but if the legislators are afraid of silenced pistols, I would expect their mucked up thinking to encompass all firearms...including accurate manual bolt rifles!

That is the answer I needed. My favorite knowledgeable gun store is closed today and no other gun shops I called could answer the question.

ya, i have threaded barrel on my Ruger Predator (centerfire) and Savage (rimfire). It's fine. Even AR is fine as long as the barrel length is over 16inch

It's funny, this "threaded barrel" thing keeps circling back around. Goes back to certain semi-autos not being able to be made/sold after the FEDERAL AW law back in '94... which has been dead for almost 15 years now.

Well, there don't appear to be any Federal laws that forbids threaded barrels. Just CA has its own penchant for obscure pointless laws about pistols, rifles, and I am sure in the near future, knives! I am actually surprised that there are no rules against threaded rifle barrels in CA!

Bolt actions, Rimfires, and some semi autos can be bought with threaded barrels. Ive seen the new Ruger PC9s being sold with threaded barrels.
