    URSA Father's Day Match Update

We had some good shooting today and some struggling.
At 2054 yards Scott S got his first 5 hits shooting with us.
Josh D had his adjustable mount freeze up on him making him do some hillside repairs.
Amy M became our first female shooter to get a hit at 2054 and she then became our first lady shooter to move back to 2586 yards. Today with her new MPA 338 Lapua she got her four hits and once again qualified for 2586 yards.
WhiteMamba was shooting well and qualified for both 2586 yard matches.
Focus was shooting his 375 SnipeTac and qualified for both 2586 yard matches.
Ken E was shooting his new BillyGoat Machine 510 DTC barrel and earned two achievement points by hitting 5 out of 10 twice at 2054 yards.
Yours truly ran the match and didn't shoot which was probably a good idea the way everyone was thumping the gong.

We moved back to 2586 yards but Amy and Ken sat it out so they could keep shooting at 2054 yards.
WhiteMamba and Focus each shot 26 shots trying to hit the gong but never connected so we went to sudden death to settle it.
Focus took home both wins at 2586 yards with one hit each.
We will now take the archery and general deer seasons off and continue our matches in NorCal in October.
To do more shooting we will have to shoot the SoCal matches.

Lisa shoots at the SoCal matches and is more than welcome to shoot the NorCal venue.
I didn't take any pictures but hopefully someone else did.
The only picture I have is of my latest project that will be going to BillyGoat Machine shortly.

Lynn - that looks like the JGS reamer design (15 degree 44 minute shoulder). Correct? Any your example looks pre-fire-forming. Correct?

The photo is just one pass through the full length die and yes the case needs fireforming to blow it all outwards and forwards.
If I get one more part Skkeeter at BillyGoat Machine can pencil me in for next Monday so we are only a couple weeks away from burning some powder.
                Keeping my fingers crossed
