    Extraction problem- Off Hand shooting

Is there a reason, that the rifle extracts better when shooting off a bench?

When I work the action on my 760s I simultaneously push the rifle slightly forward while pulling back on the forearm. Kicks the case a good distance!

Are you leaning the gun when you are shooting offhand?
If yes the case might be dropping back into the loading port.
Off a bench the rifle should be level.

Mine works fine with 308 but 7.62 rounds are very difficult to eject.
