    Yet Another Ruger New Release

Looks like Ruger has released a long action precision rifle in 300 Win Mag that comes with all the goodies that all the new "tacticool" production rifles have been coming with. I saw a short video clip from Shot Show 2018 of a Ruger representative speaking about the new release and how it comes with the Magpul AICS long action mag. It also comes in the M77 Mauser type action. Looks pretty cool and maybe there will be other long action calibers to follow. I must say it does look extremely similar to the Bergara B14 HMR.

This is almost exactly what I was looking for.... I only wish it had the price posted as well. It would be a great gun if it's not super out of the realm of affordability for what it offers.

Only problem is Ruger quality sucks anymore. It's all about how fast and cheap they can make something. My rule of thumb is not to buy any Ruger made after Bill's death.

Per the Ruger website suggested retail is $1,279. I wouldn't be surprised if the street price is around $1,000.

The Bergara HMR is routinely available for under $1000. The Ruger will be a tough sell. Plus, it's a weird caliber choice. The sweet spot these days is the 6.5 CM or thereabouts.
