    New Marlin Lever Guns

    From:

Although details are slim at the moment, information from multiple sources is revealing a variety of new Marlin lever action rifles set to be available to consumers soon.Heavy on the pistol calibers, Marlin is featuring the 1894CST, a threaded barrel carbine chambered in .38 Special/.357 Magnum.Long sought after by silencer lovers, lever gun hosts were sent to gunsmiths for barrel threading and, in many cases, magazine tube shortening.Other features on the new Marlin lever guns include XS Sight Systems ghost ring sights, big loop levers, and weather resistant stainless steel finishes.

Actual polymer stocks - not painted wood - are interesting.

This would be something that I'd buy instantly, if it was made by Miroku.

    Still...

        I don't think it's that bad
and I actually like things like stainless steel and polymer furniture on some rifles that I know I'm going to see hard use and rough weather but the price of $1100 is just way above what it should be for what it is.

Who does the threading on their barrels...

        Tiffany's ?

The real question is whether Marlin has finally gotten their quality issues all ironed out on these upcoming rifles.
            Regarding the 2nd Amendment:
"...to disarm the people ― that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." George Mason ("The Father of the Bill of Rights")

            Regarding Life and Death:
"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28

The BIG question: "What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?" Matthew 27:22b

WTF! Stainless and plastic do not create a nice levergun. Besides its a Remington product.

It looks like they have one with walnut stocks and a blued finish.
This is great news, I can only hope the quality is good. It could be my next purchase

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Take down versions would be worth considering.
