    Christensen Mesa LR 28 Nosler

Picked up my latest rifle recently. Topped it with Burris Eliminator III

    Very pleased.

    Integral brake

Did barrel break in. First 3 shot group was .377 @ 100yds 175 gr Accubonds Factory Nos

Noticed ejector marks on first 10 rounds. After lapping bore, all but gone.

Overall very impressed. Can't wait to work up my own loads. Took it on an Elk hunt. 503yd one shot kill. A bit stout to pack on back country trips but should be a fun rig for the rest. Anyone wanting to buy one should.

How's that Eliminator working out? Always liked the concept, but not the size / weight. Has it been proven to be accurate and perform as advertised?

I actually doubted the dope it displayed the first time and held over. It showed 503yds and gave me the dot just below crosshairs. I doubted it and held high.

the results...175gr Accubond Nosler factory loads

The shot was exactly where I held. I'd say I was pretty impressed.

I believe that if I had intentions of taking 500 yard shots at game animals, I would test the equipment first to verify it shot where it's pointed.

Thanks Rooster. I'm very pleased. I am not one to keep adding the latest "trendy" calibers but in this case, I love it.

For long range stuff I don't believe one could do much better than that caliber. again, congrats. may have to pick up one of those scopes when they go on sale again. Saw them as low as $700 at Midway a couple years back.
