Shop premium rifle bipods from Accu-Tac built for tactical, competition, hunting, and long-range shooting. Engineered for stability, durability, and precision performance in any environment. Proudly made in the USA.
GREAT bipod
For the muzzle device...those are pretty personal...are you looking to mitigate muzzle rise?
Or something else?sigpic

Harris S-BRM and an Area 419 HELLFIRE.
I bought an Atlas PSR with the non-rotating feet. For some reason, I just don't like the recoil impulse when shooting with an Atlas. I keep it in bag as a backup for people to borrow at the range, but other than that, I stick to Harris.

Ross Schuler brakes are hands down the best for your money. But a 308 wont normally need a brake especially in a heavier target style rifle.Comment

this right here^^^ ive shot a lot of different brakes and the 419 is the best at reducing recoil and muzzle movement...second would be the JP tank.
i bought an atlas and didnt even finish a match with it...swapped back to the harris and sold the atlas the next day.Comment

Can anyone who has an atlas explain the differences that make it vetter than a harris.
Objective differences that you can tell me about wouod be great.
I dont sweat spending more money if theres a benefit. I have used Harris bipods for years and am wondering what is lacking in them.
Thanks.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOriginally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall. I like the ability to set my legs at any angle forward or back, something you can't do with the Harris. I also like the ability to rotate the tilt and direction as well as change the tension on those adjustments. A Harris with a podlock does a decent job, but for me it doesn't duplicate the versatility of the Atlas. The one thing that a Harris does have an advantage in is the quicker deployment, but that has not been a huge issue for me, but if my use dictated the need for quick deployment of the bipod, I'd probably go with a Harris or better yet, a Bobro. Can anyone who has an atlas explain the differences that make it vetter than a harris.

I also agree with the others on the Hellfire 419 brake. Excellent choice. Hard to beat for the money.Last edited by Mute; 11-12-2017, 4:32 PM.NRA Benefactor Life Member

I don't like muzzle brakes myself, especially on something like a .308. But...
They may look a bit goofy, but they have a youtube that explains how they work, on their channel mikeandsamafterwork.Comment

The Atlad bipod also has options for different feet. Rubber, spikes, claws.

The Atlas ($250) has more versatility out of the box. The Harris ($100) can be fitted with a PodLoc ($12-22), PodMod ($30) to meet most of the needs of most shooters.
I have both and TBH, the Harris just works.Comment
