Vertical stringing - some help diagnosing if you please

In my case the rifle "only" weighs about 15 pounds and is meant to be at least somewhat man-portable.

I've obviously heard of sand-bags, but what I am seeing more and more these days are purpose built bags that are very light, filled with hollow plastic beads or somesuch. Are these recomended?

Or does your rear bag also have to have 5 pounds of sand in it to work for what we are talking about?

If you have an old pair of jeans collecting dust cut one of the legs off at the knee. Now using dental floss as your thread get a sack needle and a pair of pliers and sew one end closed.
Fill with popcorn rice or beans and sew the second end closed.
Instant bag and very cheap to make.

I will add, adjust your stock. It is not that hard to get the wobble out of that folding stock. Just takes a little time adjusting some screws.

I use fine aquarium gravel in my bags. Works like a champ.

I make my own bag (and have even sold a few on here) this is what I use for fill. I buy it locally at my closest JoAnn's. Go online and print out one of their 40% off coupons.

              1. Its plastic and moisture will not effect it.
              2. They're odd shapped, so the beads will lock into each other.
              3. Its heavy enough to stay put, but light enough your not hauling a bag of rocks or lead.

I filled my bags with sand from Dumont dunes 31 years ago. Still using all four of them.

This is how I do mine, except I zip tie the ends shut. I haven't had one come loose yet.
