Found a 6.5CM R700 today...

Went to a shop to check out the gen5 Glock and they had a single 700 Magpul 6.5CM...

Been waiting for this rifle to come out for awhile ever since they announced they would be doing factory 6.5CM offerings.

Didn't expect to see one so soon so I snatched it up.

I have a seekins 1 pc base, seekins low rings, and a vortex viper pst gen 2 5-25x50mm sitting in my shopping carts. With those parts I'd be right at $2k invested which seems alright for a entry level precision rifle with optic.

Fit and finish seemed pretty good despite all the horror stories I have heard of newer Remington firearms.

Hopefully, it shoots.

Nice pick up. The only issue I ever had with my 700 was the stupid long chamber. Hopefully they're not cutting the 6.5CM as deep as their other chambers.

Yes. Triple A's is the only gun store in the bay area that seemingly ever gets anything cool in. They have a SAW, a .416 Barrett, SCARs, etc.

Never seen a selection that was even half as decent (in the bay area) as what they offer.

Nice pick up. I just ordered a blueprinted action and have been eyeballing a 6.5CM barrel. Was reading reviews on that scope too. Give us some feedback once you shoot it.

Check Optics Planet for the scope you're looking at. can probably get at least another $100 off. I'm looking at the FFP version.
