    Finally have my rifle built!

After 8 months, I finally have my precision rifle that I've always wanted. All the work was done by Gruning Precision, and it is absolutely flawless. I wasn't sure what to think of the color, but now that it's done, I couldn't be happier. Here's the build specs
Blueprinted Remington 700 Long Action Stainless Action
    8-40 conversion
27" Stainless Kreiger Barrel chambered in 6.5 x 284 in MTU contour
    Jewell Trigger set at 1lb
McMillan A5 Adjustable stock with the barreled action bedded
CDI Precision Bottom Metal for AI pattern mags
    Gruning Bolt Knob
    Gruning 20MOA base
Steiner Military 4-16x50 with Badger rings
    Harris 9-13
Cerakoted in some mixed color with no name

Nice looking rifle. Who mounted your scope?

Thanks everyone. I mounted the scope/Gruning made the mount. Looks kinda funny right now with it so far forwards, might fix it. Or not haha.

Since it appears you have the tube space, I would recommend moving the rear ring back three notches and the front ring back one notch. You would want to keep the rings farther apart when possible but not on the outer limits, to provide maximum rigidity and still have one notch back-n-forth of movement if you need to make an adjustment.

Get a load developed and hope to see you at the Precision Tactical Matches.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to do that. Probably won't be going to any matches. Just looking to have some fun. Will do some load development soon

Man, it’s raining high-end rifles in here lately, haha!!
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
                          Come on...what harm??

I often wonder why most CalGuns members with nice rifles don't go to any matches? At least a local fun match, NRA Midrange, etc just to get their feet wet. Not too challenging, lots of members to help out and give tips too.
