One More Bottom Metal?

It looks like I am going with a Pacific Tool bottom metal set-up using cip 3.850 aics magazines.
When I go to order them online one of the options is standard latch or T latch.

Which is better and why?

T latch does not hang down below the triggergaurd.
The standard latch hangs down.

If you prefer to grab the magazine and pull it out of the rifle, you want the standard latch.
If you prefer to press the release with your trigger finger and let the magazine drop, get the T latch.
If you want to try both, I think they will sell you an extra latch and it's just a single roll pin to swap them out.
